Leadership Principles – Law School & Beyond
This Spring 2025 semester Assistant Dean Jim Thomas will be presenting a series of professional development programs. The programs will be presented live and by Zoom and recorded for future student playback.
Assistant Dean Thomas’s career has included: a federal clerkship; associate and partner in “big law”; a United States Magistrate Judge and as a “solo” practitioner service as arbitrator (private and with the AAA), mediator and as an appointed special master in the federal courts.
He will deliver firsthand and practical advice on each topic. This program features a presentation and discussion of key conceptual and practical leadership components including leadership attributes, leadership skill development, and managing oneself.
The event will take place on March 13, 2025 from 12pm - 1pm in room 1401.
